Process Driven FuNctional and Sculptural Vessels

Ceramics inspired by Nerikomi, a traditional Japanese technique. The patterns are created using layers of colored stoneware. They are not just on the surface but go all the way through the pieces. The interplay between process and design attracts me to the technique.
